Tim Leffert, Principal

Mr. Leffert is originally from Tonganoxie, KS and a graduate of Tonganoxie High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Washburn University in Public Administration. After spending some time in public service outside of education and living in Texas Mr. Leffert returned to Kansas to pursue a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas. Mr. Leffert taught Spanish, ESL, Debate, Forensics, ACT Prep, and Credit Recovery at Piper High School in Kansas City, KS before working as an instructional coach for Shawnee Mission Northwest High School and the SMSD Center for Academic Achievement. Mr. Leffert received his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Emporia State University and has worked as an administrator in Lawrence Public Schools and Topeka Public Schools. Currently, Mr. Leffert serves as principal of Robinson Middle School in Topeka, KS and is pursuing a doctoral degree from the University of Illinois in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership with an emphasis in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Education.

Relyn M. Strom, Assistant Principal

Relyn M. Strom, an educator for 22 years, currently serves as the Assistant Principal of Robinson Middle School. She has previously served as a high school teacher, District ELL Trainer, as a high school Principal/Athletic Director , and as an Elementary Assistant Principal with the Wapato SD, Hermiston SD, and the Yakama Nation Tribal School.
She graduated from Wapato High School, Attended Yakima Valley College, Central Washington University, and earned her BA, Master's in Teaching along with her School Administration Credentials at Heritage University.
Mrs. Strom believes in enjoying life by being of service to others.
